The Apple watch series 5 overall has worst battery life than previous generations of the Apple watch, because of that always-on display.
I personally really enjoy the always-on-display feature. But it comes at a cost and that's the battery life. Thankfully though satoshi sent over a super convenient accessory to use with the Apple watch in many different scenarios.
This is their magnetic type C charging dock for the Apple watch and is compatible with every version.
The device itself is essentially just a hockey puck with a type-c connector on the end but that makes it convenient to charge anywhere and plug in pretty much anything with a type C port.
So touch he makes it super simple for you to use with the female to male USB extender because obviously, the duct would be too wide to fit in certain horizontal spaces. So having his little extender makes perfect sense and it's a smart movement satoshi sparked.
When getting down to the tech spaces of this dock. It is obviously MSI certified and it charges through the USB C port at a five Watt capacity for the Apple Watch, this is perfectly fine as the battery is pretty tiny. So even if that speed still charges pretty quickly.
When using the charger repeatedly I haven't experienced any sort of overheating or any heat in general. Which is nice to see not that I'd expect that to happen at all.
One scenario I'm sure many people experience is not having their Apple watch in charge of the night before and having to go out into the day with a low battery.
Now with this, all you have to do is have some sort of USB C device and you'll set whether it be a MacBook and iPad pro or even the Apple USB C fast charger.
The only issues I've had with this magnetic dock. So far as the same issues. I've had with pretty much every other third-party Apple watch charger and that's the strength of the magnets being challenged by a heavy Apple watch band on a flat surface.
I'm currently rocking the nomad titanium link band and so sometimes it doesn't really play well with other chargers, because of all extra weight and the lack of an option to separate the sides of the band. it could make using this accessory a bit inconvenient at times. If you have an aluminum or metal watch band like the one I've. So keep this in mind if you use a head of the Apple watch band other than that this is the perfect little backpack accessory to keep around for the price.
It's small and unobtrusive. It gives you a well-built and aesthetically pleasing accessory to charge your Apple watch and a multitude of different scenarios.
This is something I'm gonna keep in my bag for sure and if you want to pick one up.
